Prof. Dr. Haldun Kamburoğlu graduated from Izmir Bornova Anatolian High School in 1995. He completed his higher education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his specialization at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. During his specialization training, he took micro surgery education at Zurich University. In 2009, he rotated in Yale University (USA) Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery clinic for a while. He became major specialist of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the end of the same year. He was certified by the European Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EURAPS) in 2009. He completed his military duty between 2010-2011 and his compulsory service duty between 2011-2013. He became a major specialist in Oral, Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013.

Prof. Dr. Kamburoğlu, working with famous plastic surgeons, Dr. Alexis Verpaele and Dr. Patrick Tonnard at Coupure Centrum and EMC2 clinics, received a post-specialization (fellowship) training on Facial Aesthetics, Breast Aesthetics and Body Contour Aesthetics. In the same year, working with Dr.Wolfgang Gubisch (founding president of the European Nose Aesthetics Society) and Dr. Helmut Fischer, he received another post-specialization training (fellowship) on Rhinoplasty. He was awarded with the 2105 European Young Plastic Surgeon fellowship by the European Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He became associate professor in October 2015. He carried through as the assistant director of Hacettepe University Aesthetic Surgery Practice and Research Center between 2014 and 2016. In January 2016, he left Hacettepe University and opened his private clinic. He completed Turkey’s first doctorate program in 2019 with his thesis on rhinoplasty. He became a professor in 2020.
