Prof. Dr. Başak KANDİ got into Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and was entitled the title of medical doctor in 1997 after completing her medical training. She completed her residency training in 2002, which she started in 1998 at Turgut Özal University, Department of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases. Between 2008 and 2012, she did her PhD in Immunology at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine.
Between 2002 and 2009, she worked as the Head of Department of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases at Fırat University, between 2009 and 2010 as the Clinic Chief of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases of Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Research and Training Hospital, and between 2010 and 2013 as the Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases at Abant İzzet Baysal University.
Professor Doctor Başak KANDİ, who is a member of professional organizations such as the Dermatology Association, Behçet's Syndrome Working Group, International Bullous Diseases Group and Cosmetic Dermatology Group, accepts patients in her private clinic in Ankara.
